I agree. George Fort Jr married Mary Catherine Jordan (not Lou). I have posted their Wills on Ancestry (Bryan/Bretthauer/Wheeler) and Wikitree Bretthauer - 262.

I descend from their daughter Orpha (Orphee) Fort who married Jesse Whitley Barnes (5th great grandparents).

You (A183502) and I (A352399) share 4 small matches; largest 5.1 cM (Ch 2) total 16.1 cM and we share 2 XDNA matches 5.3 & 5.8 cM.

I have posted on Ancestry and Wikitree copies of George Fort Jr. Mary Catherine Jordan's parents were John Brasseur Jordan & Mary Burgh.

-- my dad's side but I have close DNA matches with descendants via my maternal side.
I THINK I may be a direct descendant of this Fort line but not certain.
At this time, the only Fort I have connected in the tree is Isabel Firth of Halifax, Yorkshire, England.
