I recently learned of my connection to Marin Boucher and have read through the discussions from 2010 - 2015 about the lack of evidence showing connections to possible parents of Marin Boucher. However, using the MyHeritage search function within Geni on Marin Boucher does result in Vital records from France indicating Jacques Boucher and Francoise Paigne as his parents. I added some of these as sources to the Marin Boucher profile, but since I am new to Geni I did not want to add profiles of the parents.
Are these records new from the information available in 2015?
Are these searches reliable?
What are the current thoughts on extending the Marin Boucher line deeper into time?
