The yDNA of Peter McIntosh who married Margaret turner is well documented in the McIntosh DNA project. Google "McIntosh DNA project" and look in the R1a yDNA results. Several descendants have tested. They are linked to Mackintoshs/McIntoshs from Glenurquhart, Inverness, Scotland but the common ancestor calculates out as living more than 500 years ago, so before the paper record. However, I consider that the link to Glenurquahrt and Glenmoriston could be made if the right person was found to test his yDNA.
